13 12 Description of the appliance During the last hour , the remaining time is displayed every 5 minutes. The delayed start function cannot be used with the “CENTRIFUGADO” and “DESCARGA” (SPIN and PUMP OUT) progr ammes.
SPIN SPEED (CENTRIFUGADO) Pr ess this button to r educe the maximum speed of the final speed proposed by the machine for the selected pr ogr amme. The maximum spin speed for cotton is 1500 rpm, for synthetics and wool 900 rpm and for delicates 7 00 rpm.
Deter gent dispenser dr awer Compartment for prewash or soak detergent and stain remover . The prewash or soak detergent is added at the beginning of the wash pr ogr amme. The stain remover is added during the STAIN-Action phase in the main wash. Compartment for powder or liquid deter gent used for main wash.
W eight of laundry T ypes of fabric and car e labels The labels on garments help you to select the most suitable wash pr o- gr amme. The laundry should be sorted out accor ding to the type of fab- ric and the instructions indicated on car e labels. Temper atures indicated on labels are always maximum temper atures.
21 Delicates Microfibr es, synthetics or curtains marked with these symbols requir e a very gentle treatment. The DELICATES pr ogramme is suitable for this type of fabric. W oollens and particularly delicate items Fabrics such as wool, wool mix or silk marked with this symbol ar e par- ticularly sensitive to machine washing.
Drying symbols on garment labels Always look at the garment label to check whether garments can be machine dried. The following symbols refer to drying: Machine drying is usually possible Normal drying (normal temperatur e) Gentle drying (reduced temper atur e) Do not machine dry Garments marked with the symbol should not be machine dried.
25 Additional drying Should the laundry still be too wet at the end of the pr ogramme, set another short drying time. Warning! T o prevent the formation of creases or shrinking of fab - rics , avoid excessive drying.
Selection of the DELA Y START option T o delay starting of a pr ogramme, pr ess the DELA Y START button befor e starting the machine . The figures corr esponding to the selected delay will be displayed for about 2 seconds, after which the dur ation of the selected progr amme will appear on the display .
How to dry Drying only Warning! Do not exceed the maximum laundry loads: - 2.5 kg for linen and cottons - 2 kg for synthetics. The water tap must be open and the dr ain hose must be positioned in the sink or connected to the dr ain pipe. Depress the ON/OFF button to switch the machine on.

Consumption data for timed drying The values shown in the chart have been obtained in labor atory tests. They may vary when the appliance is used at home, but they can be used as indicative values.
Dr ain filter The drain filter collects thr eads and small objects inadvertently left in the laundry . Check regularly that the filter is clean. Open the door of the machine. Place a container under the filter and unscrew it; some water will come out of the filter .
37 Emer gency emptying out If the water is not dischar ged (pump is blocked, filter or drain hose ar e clogged), proceed as follows to empty out the machine: • pull out the plug from the power socke.

Unsatisfactory washing r esults If the laundry looks gr ey and lime scale is found in the drum • T oo little deter gent has been used. • An unsuitable detergent has been used. • Stubborn stains have not been treated prior to washing. • The progr amme/temper ature has not been corr ectly selected.

P ositioning Install the machine on a flat har d floor . Make sure that air cir culation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. • Before placing it on small tiles, apply a rubber coating. • Never try to correct any unevenness in the floor by putting pieces of wood, cardboar d or similar materials under the machine.
49 W ater inlet Connect the water inlet hose to a separate tap with a 3/4" thread after hav- ing inserted the small filter “ A” supplied with the machine. The other end of the inlet hose which connects to the machine can be turned in any direction.
Check that the door is aligned with the appliance. T o do this, loosen screw (9 - Fig. B) by a couple of turns and r e-tighten when alignment is correct.
