Step 9 — Assemble a nd Mount Suppl y-Air Hood — The hood kit supplied with the ener gy recovery section is ne eded to complete this ins tallation. Se e Fig. 11. The energy recovery section supply air hood inst alls around its motor ized d amper inlet.
Step 11 — Set the Outdoor Coolin g and Heat- ing Thermostat s CO O LI NG — During the unoccupied period, the ec onomizer mode of operation i s used as the fir st stage of cooling. When the outside air temperature is below th e cooling thermostat set point, the outside air will be used for first stage cooling.
LIGHT COMMERCIAL THERMIDIST A T A CCESSOR Y General — A Light Commerci al Therm idistat Acces sory (part number TST A T CCPLH01-B) or PremierLink™ control- ler with humidistat is required for each unit for field installation to control the energy recovery section.
Step 3 — Install Light Commer cial Thermidist at 1. T urn of f all power to equipment. T a g disconnect. 2. If an existing thermostat is being replaced: a. Remove existing thermost at from wall. b. Disconnect wires from exis ting thermostat, one at a time.
Option 2 — Clean Filter Timer — Select hours of blower operation (heating, cool ing, or fan) before CL EAN FIL TER icon is displayed. W ith OFF s elected, icon will never come on, disabling this feature. T ime selection can range from 400 to 3600 blower operation hours by selecting numbers 1 through 9.
2 is selected, 72 F actual will read 74 F . If set point is 72 F , t h e room will control to an actual temperature of 70 F which will be displayed and acted upon a s if it were 72 F . The effect is that a positive number selection will make the room temperature lower and vice versa.
Step 6 — Make Final Settings — Be sure to return DIP switch no. 4 back to OFF position to exit Installer T est mode. Assuming the system i s to be left in operation after installation is complete, use MODE button to select betwe en HEA T , COOL , or AUTO to provide desired operation of heat- ing, cooling, or both.
PRE-ST ART -UP Refer to 48/50HJ Installation Instructions for Pre-Start-Up information for the rooftop unit section. Proceed as follows to inspec t an d prepar e the unit for i nitial sta rt-up: 1. Remove filter access pa nel, blower ac cess panel, and con- trol panel access cover on t he energy recovery section.
