3 Step 2 — Remove Shipping Rail s — Remove ship- ping rails prior to lowering u nit onto roof curb. See Fig. 2. The rails are a ttached to the unit at both the ret urn end and condens- er end. Rem ove the screws fr om both ends of each rail. Be careful not to drop t he rails onto any surfac e that could be da m- aged.

8 Step 4 — Field F abricate Ductwor k — Secure all ducts to building structure. Use flexible duct connect ors be- tween unit and ducts as required. Insulate and weatherproof all external ductwork, joints , and roof openings with counter flashing and mastic in accordance with applicable co des.
