INTRODUCTION 7 PRODUCT REGISTRATION If you are the original purchaser of this unit and you purchased it in the United States, you should fill out the enclosed warranty registration card and return it to Cary Audio Design withi n 15 days of your purchase.
INTRODUCTION 8 D O N OT place the Model 7.125 on a windowsill or an y location exp osed to direct sunlight. D O N OT stack the Model 7.125 directly above heat-producing equipment such as another power amplifier. Power Requirements The Model 7.125 power amplifier is designed to operate from r esidential or commercial AC current mains.
CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS 9 FRONT PANEL POWER BUTTON • The Power Button perform s no function when the amplifier is powered off with the rear pan el Master Power Switch. • When the rear panel Master Power Switch is powered on, th e Model 7.125 is in Standby mode.
CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS 10 REAR PANEL 1 & 2. UNBALANCED/BALANCE D INPUT 1 TO 7 CONNECT ORS Provides audio input for the speak ers connected through the unbal anced (RCA) inputs or balanced (XLR) inputs. The illustration below shows the appropr i ate cable pin-out of XLR c onnectors.
CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS 11 4. REMOTE TRIGGER INPUT Enables the Model 7.125 to be controlled by an external device with a 3.3 V DC minimum to 24V DC maximum trigger output. Connect th e trigger output of the external device to the TRIGGER INPUT of the Model 7.

OPERATION 13 SOURCE COMPONENT CONNECTIONS & OU TPUT SETTINGS Make all connections befor e powering on the Model 7.125. It is also recommend ed that you power on the source component s and processor in your system before powering on the Model 7.125.
SPECIFICATIONS 14 Operating the Model 7.125 is a simple procedure. It is designed for long term stability in virtually any home operating environment. However, if th e uni t is operated outsid e the parameters outlined in this Owner's Manual, damage may re sult.
TROUBLESHOOTING 15 The amplifier does not power on. 1. Make sure the rear panel Master P ower Switch is set to the I (“ on”) position. 2. Attempt to activate the amplifier with the front pan el standby/on button . 3. Examine the power cord to ensure a good connection between the rear panel AC input connector and the wall outlet.
MAINTENANCE 16 CARE AND CLEANING Routine maintenance sh ould be perf ormed on a periodic basis. Clean the exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use alc ohol, benzene, acetone-b ased cleaners, or strong commercial cleaner s.
