3 Installation • Any installation work must be undertaken by a quali - ed electrician or competent person. • This hood must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions and all measuremen ts adhered to.

5 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS This cooker hood is designed to extract unpleasant odours from the kitchen, it will not extract steam . Key Function Display A T urns the Lighting System on and off. On or Off B T urns the Motor on and off. On or Off C Activates speed one.
6 This cooker hood can be used to recirculate or extract contaminated air . Recirculation Mode The cooker hood is supplied specied for use in the recir - culation mode with the charcoal lter tted. The contaminated air is cleaned by passing through the lters and than back into the kitchen.
7 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before car r ying out any maintenance or lean- ing isolate the cooker hood fr om the mains supply . The cooker hood m ust be kept clean, as a build up of grease or fat can be a fir e hazard. External Cleaning The metal casing, grille and chimney shoul d be cleaned at least once a month to keep it looking like new .
8 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Alarm signal reset • T urn the Lights and the Suction motor off. • Press button H and hold for at least 2 seconds, conrmation is provided by the fact that the Led goes out. Before car r ying out any maintenance or cleaning isolate the cooker hood fr om the mains supply .
9 Changing the Halogen Spot Lamp • Extract the lamp from the lamp holder by pulling gently . • Replace with another of the same type, making sure that the two pins are properly inserted in the lamp holder socket holes. Replacement filters and light bulbs can be obtained from y our local Service Force Centr e.
10 SOMETHING NOT WORKING SERVICE AND SP ARE P ARTS If, having followed these instructions carefully , your cooker hood fails to work properly please carry out the following checks.
11 GUARANTEE CONDITIONS Standard Guarantee Conditions We, AEG, undertake that if within 12 months of the date of the purchase this AEG built-in appliance or any part thereof is proved to be defective .

14 INST ALLA TION INSTRUCTIONS W all drilling and bracket xing W all marking: • Draw a vertical line on the supporting wall up to the ceiling, or as high as practical, at the centre of the area in which the hood will be installed. • Draw a horizontal line at 650 mm above the hob.
15 Hood body mounting • Before attaching the hood body , tighten the two screws V r located on the hood body mounting points. • Hook the hood body onto the screws.
