User’s Manual DEO76 30” Built-in Double Oven - User’s Manual.
2 Congratulations on th e purchase of your AEG appliance. We are sure it will provide many years of great cooking experience. You may find that it has different feat ures and characteristics to your last appliance. It is essential you read this operati on ma nual thoroughly to fully understand all of the various functions and operations.
3 A - Installation check and warnings IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the ov en cavity , venting and wiring is as specified in the relevant sec tion H of this manual. It is important to the performance of the oven to allow sufficient air circulation around the appliance.
4 Do not use water on grease fires Fires or flame should be smothered u si ng flamep roof material or extinguish ed using a dry chemical or other suitable fire retardant. When the cooker is not in use, ensure that all the knobs are in the o ff position.
5 C - Using the appliance for the first time After installation remove all notification la bels ( not iden tification or warnin g labels) and packaging materials. After cleaning m ake sure cleaned surfaces are tho rou ghly rinsed and wipe d dry using a clean, soft cloth.
6 D - Electronic Programmer Operation The 24 hour clock allows the setting of automatic cooking options up to 2 4 hours in advance. 1 - Minus Time Button 2 Mode (Countdown Timer with Alarm, Cooking du.
7 Adjusting the tone of the electronic timer alarm. There are 3 different tones from which y ou can se lect. To chan ge the tone y ou press the “+” and “-“ simultaneously, then press the Mode butt on once, Ton will be displayed.
8 Note: If you have not turned the cooking mode and te mperature off, your ov en will now contin ue to operate manually. The AUTO symbol will di sappea r a nd the POT symbol will reappear. Fully automatic – (Start Later – S top Later) Your oven may be programmed to start, cook fo r the desired time and turn off a utomatically.
9 E - Cooking modes and Instructions NOTE: cooking functions will vary from model to model – following is a description of the functions that are available and some or all of these functions will be included on the product you have purchased.
10 NOTE: Any food or other cooking utensils placed in the ov en during preheating will affect the pre heat ing time. The preheat time may also vary with installations. WARNING When using an alternative coo king mode for fast preheat, be sure to turn the cooking mode to your required setting before placing foo d in the oven.

12 STEAM CLEAN ASSIST Traditionally, oven enamels have be en porous. This creates a su rface that, over time, collects microscopic oil and grime depo sits that b uild up with in these pores and be come nearly impossible to remove.
13 CONVENTIONAL OVEN In this traditional mode, oven heat is prov ided from th e top and under the oven compartment and is most suitable when coo king o n a single shelf. For best resu lts, arra nge the shelves so the top of the food is near the centre of the oven.
14 FAN ASSIST This style of cooking provides traditional cook ing heating from top and bottom elements with the assistance of a circulation fan to ensure fast even results. This mode is most suit able for delicate cooking such as cakes, pa stries, gatea ux, biscuits and yeast dough.
15 3- Select FAN GRILL mode. 4- Set the oven to the desired temperature. (see note below an d refe r to FAN GRILL temperature guide). 5- When cooking is complete turn the oven off. NOTE: Large grill pans or roasting dishes can restrict the circulation of air in the oven.
16 CLASSIC BAKE (bottom of double oven) In this mode, oven heat is provided from the con ceal ed bottom element. This is most suitable for cooking food which requires a well cooke d ba se or where minimal bro wni ng is required. 1- Adjust oven shelves to desired position/ s.

18 Routine cleaning Ensure all controls are in the off positio n and t he app liance is cool before cleaning. Whe n wiping stainless steel surfaces wit h a bru shed finish, wipe in the same direction s as the bru shing.
19 To re-fit the oven door: i. Holding the door at an angle to the oven, sli de the hinges into the o v en frame, making sure that on each side the top curved arm fits into the top slot and the lower arm fits into the bottom slot.
20 7. For Double Oven re-fit the bottom door first by fixing the hing es with their screws; fix also the bracket of the middle spacer profile at the same time 8.
21 H - Installation instructions. INFORMATION FOR THE INSTALLER THE GRAB HANDLES MUST BE U SED TO MOVE THE OVEN. WHEN THE OVEN IS HALF FITTED IN THE C ABINET, IT IS POSSIBLE TO REMOVE THE TWO HANDLES BY UNSCREWING THE FOUR FIXING SCREWS.
