5 Electr onic Pr ogr ammer The electronic pr ogrammer is a device that gr oups together the following functions: – 24 hour clock with illuminated displa y – Timer (up to 23 hour s and 59 minutes) – Progr amme for automatic ov en cooking – Progr amme for semi-automatic ov en cooking.
6 Electr onic Clock (fig. 4) The programmer is equipped with an electr onic clock with illuminated numbers which indicates hours and minutes. Upon immediate connection of the oven or after a pow er cut, three zer os will flash on the progr ammer display.
7 A U T O A U T O Aut omatic Ov en Cooking T o cook f ood automatically in the oven, it is necessary to: 1 . Set the length of the cooking time 2. Set the end of the cooking time 3. Set the temperatur e and the oven cooking progr am. These operations ar e done in the following way: 1 .
8 Semi - Aut omatic Cooking This is used to switc h the oven off automatically after the desired c ooking time has elapsed. There ar e two ways t o set the semi-automatic cooking function: 1 . Set the length of time you need to cook the food by pushing the button and the button to advance, or to go bac kwards (Fig.
9 How t o Use the Hob Burners Hob Burners Each hob burner is controlled by a separate gas valve oper ated by a control knob (fig. 1 1) which has 3 positions marked on the contr ol panel, these are: .
10 Choice o f Burner The burner must be choosen accor ding to the diameter of the pans and energy requir ed. Saucepans with handles which are excessiv ely heavy , in relationship to the weight of the pan, are safer as they ar e less likely to tip. Pans whic h ar e positioned centrally on burner s are more st able than those which ar e offset.
11 How t o Use the Multifunction Oven Gener al Featur es As its name indicates, this is an oven that pr esents particular f eatur es fr om an operational point of view . In fact, it is possible to insert 7 differ ent programmes to satisfy ev ery cooking need.
12 Function Select or Knob (fig. 1 5) Rotat e the knob clockwise to set the ov en for one of the f ollowing functions. Ov en Light By setting the knob to this position, only the oven light c omes on. It remains on in all the c ooking modes. T r aditional Con vection C ooking The upper and lower heating elements come on.
13 Grilling The infrar ed grill element comes on. The heat is dispersed by radiation. Use with the ov en door closed and the thermostat knob to position 225°C for max 1 5 minutes, then to position 1 75°C. For cooking hints, see the c hapter “USE OF THE GRILL ”.
14 V entilated Grill Cooking The infr ared grill element and the fan come on. The heat is disper sed mainly by r adiation and the fan then distributes it all over the oven. Use with the door closed. The temper ature can be regulated via the thermostat knob to between 50° and 1 75° max.
15 Cooking A dvice St erilization Sterilization of f oods to be conserved, in full and hermetically sealed jars, is done in the f ollowing way: a. Set the switch t o position . b. Set the thermostat knob to position 1 85 °C and preheat the ov en. c. Fill the dripping pan with hot water .
16 Roasting T o obtain classical r oasting, it is necessary to remember: – that it is advisable to maintain a temper ature between 1 80° and 200 °C. – that the cooking time depends on the quantity and the type of foods. Use of the Grill – Preheat the ov en for about 5 minutes.
17 Do’s and do not’s – Do always grill with the ov en door closed. – Do read the user instructions car efully before using the c ooker for fir st time. – Do allow the oven to heat f or one and a half hours, befor e using for the first time, in order to expel any smell from the new ov en insulation, without the introduction of f ood.
18 Car e and Maintenanc e Important: As a safety measur e, before you st art cleaning the cooker be sur e to disconnect it fr om the mains supply. Do not use cleaning pr oducts with a chlorine or acidic base. Do not use a steam cleaner because the moisture can get int o the applianc e thus make it unsafe.
19 St ainless St eel, Aluminium, Paint ed Parts and Silk -Screen Print ed Surfaces Clean using an appropriat e product. Alw ays dry thor oughly. Stainless st eel surfaces: can be cleaned with an appr opriate stainless steel cleaner . IMPOR T ANT : these parts must be cleaned very car efully to avoid scr atc hing and abrasion.
20 F C Ignitor “S” Flame failure pr obe “T” Fig. 1 8 Fig. 1 7 Burners and Grids – These parts can be remov ed and cleaned with appropriat e products. – After cleaning, the burners and their flame spr eaders must be well dried and corr ectly replaced.
21 Corr ect Position o f T riple Ring Burner The triple ring burner must be corr ectly positioned (see fig. 1 9); the burner ribs must be fitted in their housing as shown by the arrow . The burner corr ectly positioned must not rot ate (fig. 20). Then position the cap A and the ring B (figs.
22 Remo v al of the Inner Glass Door P anel – The inner glass door panel can easily be removed f or cleaning by unscrewing the f our scr ews (fig. 22). – When re-assembly ensure that the inner glass is correctly positioned and do not over tighten the screw s.
23 Inside of Ov en The oven should alwa ys be cleaned after use when it has cooled down. The cavity should be cleaned using a mild detergent solution and warm water . Suit able proprietary chemical cleaners ma y be used after first consulting with the manufactur ers r ecommendations and testing a small sample of the oven cavity.
24 Ov en T r a y The oven tra y "L" must be corr ectly placed on the wir e support (fig. 26) then inserted int o the side runners (fig. 2 7). Ov en Floor The oven floor “F” (fig. 27) can be easily removed to facilitate cleaning. Remember to r eplace the floor correctly aft erwar ds.
25 Remo ving the Ov en Door Please operate as f ollows: – Open the door completely. – The swivel r etainers of the rh and lh hinges (fig. 28a) are hooked onto the metal bar abov e them (fig. 28b). – Lift the oven door slightly. The noch on the bottom of the hinge will disengage (fig.
26 FOR THE INS T ALLER Location The appliance may be installed in a kitc hen, Kitchen/diner or a bed sitting room, but not in a r oom or space containing a bath or a show er . The appliance must not be installed in a bed-sitting r oom of less than 20 m 3 .
27 Fitting the A djustable F eet – The adjustable feet must be fit ted to the base of the cook er befor e use. – Rest the rear of the cooker an a piece of the polystyrene packaging exposing the base for the fitting of the feet. – Fit the 4 legs by screwing them tight int o the support base as shown in picture 3 1 .
28 W arning T o move the cooker alwa ys ensure two people carry out this manoeuvre t o prev ent damage to the appliance (fig. 33). W arning Be carefull: do not lift the cooker by the door handle (fig. 34). W arning When moving cooker to its final position DO NO T DRAG (fig.

30 Pr ovision f or V entilation – The appliance should be inst alled into a room or space with an air supply in acc ordanc e with BS 5440-2: 2000. – For rooms with a volume of less than 5 m 3 - permanent ventilation of 1 00 cm 2 free area will be requir ed.
31 Gas Installation Important Not e This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (chec k the gas regulation label attached on the appliance). – Appliances supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS: they are adjusted for this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modification.
32 Gas Connection The installation of the gas appliance to Natural Gas or LP Gas must be carried out by a suitably qualified and r egister ed installer .
33 Gas Connection Cat: II 2H3+ The gas supply must use the near est gas inlet pipe which is located at the left or the right hand side at the rear of the applianc e (fig. 39). The hose should also be connected in suc h awa y that it does not touc h the floor .
