The green wire in the cord m ust be the only wire connected to the tool’ s grounding system and m ust ne ver be attached to an electrically “liv e” ter minal.
SKU 90186 P A GE 9 EXTENSION CORDS 1. Grounded tools require a three wire e xtension cord. Double Insulated tools can use either a two or three wire e xtension cord. 2. As the distance from the supply outlet increases, y ou must use a heavier gauge e xtension cord.

SKU 90186 P A GE 13 The P ower Switch: 1. T o star t the Circular Saw , depress the Saf ety Switch with your thumb , and then the P ow er Switch (par t #67).
SKU 90186 P A GE 14 INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING 1. Make sure the P ow er Switch (par t #67) of the Circular Saw is in its “OFF” position and that the tool is unplugged from its electrical outlet before per- f or ming any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures .
3. T OOL LUBRICA TION: Alwa ys chec k the oil le vel of the Circular Sa w before each use. T o check and add oil, mak e sure the Circular Saw is sitting on a flat, le vel surf ace. Remov e the Oil Plug located at the front of the Circular Saw . The oil le vel should ne ver be belo w the bottom threads of the Oil Plug Hole.
