12 Self- T esting: 1 2 1. Pr ess and hold the feed button while turning printer ON. 2. Release feed button when printing begins and printer will conduct a self- test and print a conguration label . 3. P ower OFF printer to end hexadecimal dump mode.

16 No-Media T imeout The no media timeout value represents the number of inches of media fed thr ough the printer without detecting an index mark prior to reporting an error .

18 Auto Recalibra tion Check and Apply Enable Aut o Recalibration and the printer will automatically attempt to r ecalibrate in the event an index mark is not detected. Auto T op O f F orm Check and Apply Enable Aut omatic TOF and the print er will feed a label when the printer is turned ON or the printhead is latched.
19 T op of F orm Adjust T op of F orm ( T OF) sets the top of the label with relation t o the print head. Increasing the T OF value moves the printed text down the label . Decrease the TO F setting to move the print ed test up the label. This value is set at the factory and t ypically will not need to be changed.

23 Chapter 4: Cleaning and Main tenance F or optimal printhead per formance C ognitive TPG recommends cleaning the interior components(printhead,pla tenroller ,mediasensor ,peelbar(ifinstalled),ribbon, andmediapaths)every20,000inches(508m).
