2 IMPOR T ANT SAFETY INSTR UCTIONS SA VE THESE INSTR UCTIONS READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE WARNING : To prevent fire, burns, electric shock and other warnings: Listed below are, as with all appliances, certain rules to follow and safeguards to assure high performance from this oven: 1.
3 EAR THING INSTR UCTIONS This appliance must be earthed. In the event of an electrical short circuit, earthing reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a earthing wire with a earthing plug.
4 1 Door latch - When the door is closed, it will automatically shut off. If the door is opened while the oven is operating, the magnetron will automatically shut off. 2 Door seal - The door seal surfaces prevent microwaves escaping from the oven cavity.
5 1 Display - Cooking time, power level, indicators and the current time are displayed. 2 Auto Cook - Used to cook or reheat many of favorite food. 3 Grill - Use to cook Grill. 4 Combi - Use to cook Combi. 5 Power - Used to set power level. 6 Defrost - Used to defrost foods for time and weight.
6 The oven light is on only when the microwave oven is operating. The oven door can be opened at any time during operation by pulling the door. The oven will automatically shut off. To restart the oven, close the door and then touch the START pad. Each time a pad is touched, a BEEP will sound to acknowledge the touch.
7 CONTR OLS SETTING THE CLOCK When the oven is first plugged in, the display will flash “:0”. If the AC power ever goes off, the display shows “:0” when the power comes back on. 1. Touch the Clock pad. This is a 12 hour clock system. 2. Touch the Clock pad once more.
NOTE: Your oven can be programmed for 200g~3000g in Weight defrosting mode. WEIGHT DEFR OSTING When DEFROST is selected, the automatic cycle divides the defrosting time into periods of alternating defrost and stand times by cycling on and off. 1. Touch the Defrost pad.
9 COOKING IN ONE ST A GE 1. Touch the Power pad. (Select the desired power level.) 2. Touch the TIME SET pads for the cooking time. 3. Touch the START pad. The display will show what you touched The display will show what you touched NOTE: Your oven can be programmed for 59 minutes 90 seconds.
10 Note : Time can be set up to 29 minutes 90 seconds. GRILL COOKING This function allows you to brown food quickly. The heating element is located in the top of the oven. There is no pre-heating the oven for grill cooking. Place food inside the oven when setting the controls.
11 1. Touch the +30 sec pad. When you touch the +30 sec pad, “:30” is displayed, and the oven starts reheating +30 sec +30 sec allows you to reheat for 30 seconds at 100% (full power) by simply touching the +30 sec pad. By repeatedly touching the +30 sec pad, you can also extend reheating time to 5 minutes by 30 second increments.
12 1. Touch the Pasta pad once for 1 serving of pasta or twice for 2 servings of pasta When you touch the Pasta once, “1” is displayed. After 1.5 seconds, the display is changed into cooking time and the oven starts cooking. * PASTA * • 1 serving: Touch the Pasta pad once.
13 HO W T O ST OP THE O VEN WHILE THE O VEN IS OPERA TING 1. Touch the STOP/CLEAR pad. • You can restart the oven by touching the START pad. • Touch the STOP/CLEAR once more to erase all instructions. • You must enter in new instructions. 2. Open the door.
14 CARE OF Y OUR MICRO W A VE O VEN Turn the oven off before cleaning. Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food spatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. The use of harsh detergent or abrasives is not recommended.
15 Q UESTIONS AND ANSWERS * Q : I accidentally ran my microwave oven without any food in it. Is it damaged? * A : Running the oven empty for a short time will not damage the oven. However, it is not recommended. * Q : Can the oven be used with the glass tray or roller guide removed? * A : No.

18 COOKING INSTR UCTIONS Utensil Guide Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens. To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the food, without being reflected or absorbed by the dish used. Care must therefore be taken choosing the utensil.
19 USE Y OUR MICRO W A VE O VEN SAFEL Y General Use Do not attempt to defeat or tamper with safety interlocks. Do not place any object between the oven front frame and the door or allow residue to build up on sealing surfaces. Wipe with a mild detergent, rinse and dry.
20 MICR O W A VING PRINCIPLES Microwave energy has been used in this country to cook and reheat food since early experiments with RADAR in World War ll. Microwaves are present in the atmosphere all the time, both naturally and manmade sources. Manmade sources include radar, radio, television, telecommunication links and car phones.
21 ST ANDING TIME Dense foods e.g. meat, jacket potatoes and cakes, require standing time(inside or outside of the oven) after cooking, to allow heat to finish conducting to cook the center completely. Wrap meat joints and jacket potatoes in aluminium foil while standing.
22 w Do not defrost covered meat. Covering might allow cooking to take place. Always remove outer wrap and tray. Use only containers that are microwave-safe. w Begin defrosting whole poultry breast-side-down. Begin defrosting roasts fat-side-down. w The shape of the package alters the defrosting time.

24 Reheating chart • Baby food particularly needs to be checked carefully before serving to prevent burns. • When heating pre-packaged ready-cooked foods, always follow the pack instructions carefully.
25 VEGET ABLE CHAR T Use a suitable glass pyrex bowl with lid. Add 30-45ml cold water(2-3 tbsp.) for every 250g unless another water quantity is recommended - see table. Cook covered for the minimum time - see table. Continue cooking to get the result you prefer.

28 SCRAMBLED EGG 1 / 2 oz.(15g) butter 2 eggs 2 tbsp(30ml) milk salt & pepper 1. Melt the butter in a bowl at P-HI for 1 minutes. 2. Add the eggs, milk and seasoning and mix well. 3.
