Step 2 Attach th e SAT A connectors to your hard dri ve. Step 3 W ith the hard dr ive labe l facing up, attach the guides to both s ides of the hard dr ive.
Step 4 Line u p the g uides with the case , and sl ide the hard dr ive b ack in. The enclosure s hould slid e shut. Step 5 Secure the t wo scre ws that wer e rem oved in step 1 . Step 6 Conn ect one e nd of the power cor d to the back of the enclosur e and connect the o ther end to a power out let.
The hard dri ve is no w read y to use and you can f ind it under “M y Com puter”. Congratulat ions! T he hard drive install ation is com plete. Note: If you do not se e your hard drive un der M y Computer, please con tinue on Section 2.

Step 6 Enter the desir ed P artition Size and click Next . Step 7 Selec t Assign t he fo llowin g drive lett er and select a letter for the new disk drive or you can se lect other options prefer red.
Step 8 Selec t the File s ystem and c hange the Vo lume l abel or you can se lect other options preferred. Cli ck Next to s tart form atting the h ard drive .
