www.desatech.com 113084-01C 6 Unusually Tight Construction The air that leaks around doors and windows may provide enough fresh air for combustion and ven- tilation. However , in buildings of unusually tight construction, you must provide additional fresh air .

Do not install this heater as your pri- mary heat source. If you have a central heating system, you may run system’s circulating blower while using heater.

www.desatech.com 113084-01C 10 INSTALLATION Continued 9. Remove log box and heater from carton. Place heater in stove as shown in Figure 9. Use bolts from hardware kit to attach heater to stove. 10. Install door catch bolt (M8 x 1.25-55mm with two M8 hex nuts) into threaded hole on stove body (see Figure 7).

www.desatech.com 113084-01C 12 INSTALLATION Continued WARNING: Never connect natural gas heater to private (non- utility) gas wells. This gas is com- monly known as wellhead gas. Installation Items Needed Before installing heater , make sure you have the items listed below .
