DAILY USE ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION Touch for 1 second to activate or deac- tivate the appliance. AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF The function deactivates the appliance automatically if: • All cooking zo nes are deactiva ted ( ). • You do not set the heat setti ng after you activate the appliance.
POWER MANAGEMENT The power managemen t divides the power between two cooking zo nes in a pair (see the illustration). T he power function increa- ses the power to the maximum level for one cooki ng zone in the pair. The po wer in the second cooking zone automatically de- creases.

CARE AND CLEANING Clean the appliance after ea ch use. Always use cookware with clean bottom. Scratches or dark stains on the glass-ceramic cause no ef fect on how the appli ance operates . To remove the dirt: 1. – Remove immediately: melted plastic, plastic foil, and food with sugar.
