M0411pr-0920 6 Important Notes • Y our new battery must be charged for at least 18 hours before you use it in your vehicle for the first time. • We recommend that you start charging your battery before beginning assembly of your new vehicle. • The battery must be upright while charging.
M0411pr-0920 7 • Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. Notes: - The power indicator on the charger does not indicate the charge status of your battery . The power indicator allows you to see that there is power from the wall outlet. - If power flow to the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, make sure the switch is “ON”.
M0411pr-0920 8 • Locate the wire connector inside the front end of the vehicle. • While feeding the wire connector through the hole in the dash, fit the tabs on the dash onto the front end of the vehicle. Dash ASSEMBL Y F 3 Pull • Turn the vehicle over .
M0411pr-0920 9 • Fit the end of the steering column through the hole in the steering linkage. • Fit a cap nut on the end of the steering column. • T ap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it to the end of the steering column. Hint: Y ou may need the help of another adult to hold the steering column in place while you tap the cap nut.
M0411pr-0920 10 • Plug the motor harness connector from the vehicle into the steering wheel connector . • While carefully feeding the wire down into the dash, fit the steering wheel onto the end of the steering column. • Fit the remaining .345 cap nut onto the end of the steering column.
M0411pr-0920 11 Handle Latch • Using a slotted screwdriver , turn both lock fasteners ¼ turn to the locked position . • First, “snap” the front of the seat to the vehicle A . • Next, “snap” the four tabs near the back of the seat into the matching slots in the vehicle B .
