Bridge Surface Element with Selector Knob (on some models) Y ou can create an oblong heated area by using the left rear element in addition to the front element bridge combination. Make sure the pan rests flat on the glass cooktop. When the SELECTOR knob points to , the control knob controls both the left front sur face element and the bridge area.
Surface Elements Cycle On and Off Sur face elements will cycle on and off to maintain the temperature you have selected. All radiant sur face elements have a temperature limiter that protects the glass cooktop from getting too hot. The temperature limiter may cycle the elements off while cooking if: ■ The pan boils dry .
