Introduction RS2420002 Rev. 5 4 General Information This manual provides complete instructions and suggestions for handling, installing and servicing Amana gas cooktops. Directions, information, and warnings in this manual are developed from experience with, and careful testing of the product.

The foam tape prevents sealant from seeping between the countertop and the underside of the cooktop. Service problems may arise if foam tape is not applied correctly.
