To connect the printer to a Macintosh computer, you need a USB compl iant inte rfac e cable .

We recommend using HP designed inkjet paper for the best outpu t quality. For example, if you are pri nting a pho to, be sure to print on HP Premi um Plus Photo P aper for pho to-quality results.

The p rinter prints on the fac e-down side of the paper in the paper tray; th e printed document face s up in the OUT tray.

2 15 getting to know your printer tools menu Acce ss the Tools menu from the Tools button. The Tools menu options allow you to change the printer settings from the C ontrol panel.

F or example, if you se lect a 4 x 6 in ch (10 2 x 15 2 mm) photo size, th e printer will crop the photo to that size by measuring from the center of the pho to.
hp photosmart 1215/1115 color printer 21 photo colo r (model 1215) When printing directly from the memory card, you can set the printer to print photos in Color, Black & White, Sepia, or Antique. Photos printed in Sepia print in brown tones and look si milar to photos produced in the early 1900s.

3 25 printing without a computer Your HP PhotoSmar t 1215/1115 color pri nter allows you to pr int directly from a memory card or use infrared without b eing connected to a computer. You can use the C ontrol panel to choose photos on a memory card or send a file or photo s from an infrared (IR) device.
