The server ex its standby mo de and applies full p ower to the system . The system pow er LED changes from a mber to green.
Operations 19 CAUTION: To preve nt damage to electric al components, take the appropriate anti - s tatic precautions befor e beginning any installa tion, removal, or replacem ent procedure. Improp er grounding can cause electrostatic discharge. 1. Power down the server (on page 18 ).

Setup 26 Rack server To allow for servicing a nd adequate airflow, observ e the following spa ce and airflow requireme nts when deciding where to insta ll a rack: • Leave a minimum clearance of 85.09 cm (33.5 in) in fr ont of the rack. • Leave a minimum clear ance of 76.
Setup 27 P ower require ments Installation of this eq uipment must comply wit h local and regional electri cal regulations governin g the installation of information technology equipment by licensed elec tricians.

Setup 30 CAUTION: Always plan the rack ins tallation so that the heaviest item is on the bottom of the rack. Install the heaviest item first, and continue to populate the rack from the bottom to the top. To install the server in an HP, Compaq - bran ded, Telco, or a third - party rack: 1.
