7 41555-01 Operation 5. Place the front grill back onto the unit. First, line up the tab on the bottom of the grill with the rec ess on the purier base and then push the top of the grill forward until it is closed. Refer to Figs . 6 and 7. NOTE: This unit will not operate unless the g rill is in the correct position.
41555-01 8 Operation Filter Life Counters The pre-lter and lter are critical to the proper operation of the air purier . T o help you know when to change the lters , your Hunter Air P urier has Filter Lif e Counters that will monitor the life of your lter .
9 41555-01 Operation Using the Ionizer Usi ng the ioniz er impr ov es the quali ty of air in the ro om. Nega tiv e ions are r eleas ed into the air and positively charged dust, smoke, and pollen particles are attracted to the negative ions. These par ticles settle out of the air and can be vacuumed up during normal cleaning.
41555-011 10 Air P urier Maintenance Cleaning Your Air Purier Pr oper maintenance of your Hunter Air Purier will help ensure years of trouble free ser vice . F ollow these steps to properly maintain y our air purier: 1. Appro ximately ever y 90 days, the outside of the unit should be cleaned with a sof t, damp cloth.
