4 Installation W ARNING – THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED . MAINS C ONNECTION UK Household: Y our cooker should have been checked to ensure that the voltage corresponds with y our supply volt age, this is stated on the rating plat e, which is situated on the outer rear panel.
5 Installation NO TE: The rear of your cooker needs to be a required distance a way from the wall. The two buff ers at the rear of the Hob determine this distance. Splashback A splashback is also supplied, to preven t food from falling down the back of your cooker .

Clock/Minute Minder 10 T o set the Time of Day: Step 1 Check that the electricity supply to the cooker is turned on. Step 2 When switched on, the display will show 0.00 flashing intermittently . Step 3 Press the “ “ button and release... then press either the ‘+’ or the ‘-’ button to set the correct time of day .
11 Clock/Minute Minder The minute minder can be cancelled bef ore the bleeper sounds by pressing the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons together until 0.00 appears in the display window . T o adjust the pitch of the bleeper , press the ‘-’ button while th e bleeper is sounding.

14 Sealed Hob General Information ● Use good quality flat-based cookware on all electric heat sources. ● Ensure pans hav e clean, dr y bases before use . ● Ensure pans match size of heating area. ● Remember good quality pans retain heat well, so generally only a low or medium heat is necessary .
Grill P an and Handle 15 Grill pan handle The grill pan handle is detachable from the pan, to facilitate cleaning and storage. The handle can be either detachable from or fixed t o the pan.

Guide T o Grilling 17 Pre - heat the grill f or 5 minutes on maximum control setting before grilling The settings in the above guide ha ve been developed to cook f ood successfully without excessiv e fat spitting and splashing. 1. Plastic or nylon pads 2. Household abrasive pow ders and scourers. These may scratch the surface. 3. Oven chemical cleaners, aerosols and oven pads. Caustic cleaners such as these will etch the surface and attack the metal frame. 4. Bath and sink cleaners may mark the surface.
The shelf supports are removable and dishwasher saf e. T o remov e hold the support at the front and pull away from the ov en side, this can then be cleaned in a sink or a dishwasher . When remov ed it allows access to the oven side , which can be cleaned with warm soapy water .
Remove the grill pan and the wire grid food support, it is best to wash these items immediately after each use to prevent stains fr om being burnt on when used again. Wipe out the Grill compartment, use a fine steel wool soap pad t o remove stubborn stains from the compartment.
Car e and Cleaning 25 Take particular care not to damage the inner sur face of the door inner glass that is c oated with a heat reflective la yer . Do not use scouring pads, or abrasi ve po wder , which will scratch the glass . Ensure that the glass panel is not subjected to any sharp mechanical blows.
C ook ing Results Not Satisfac tory? 26 Problem Grilling Uneven cooking front to back Ensure that the grill pan is positioned centrally belo w the grill element. Uneven cooking front to back T op Oven Baking Ensure the cooking utensil is positioned centrally under the gr ill element.
Problem 27 Something Wr ong with your C ooker? Before contacting your near est S ervice Centr e/Installer , check the pr oblem guide below; there may be nothing wr ong with your cooker . If you find that the timer display is blank, then it is lik ely that there is no electricity supply to your oven.
