Read before operating your cooktop All appliances - regardless of the manufacturer - have the potential through improper or careless use to create safety problems . Therefore the f o llowing safety precautions should be o bserved: 1 . Never use your appliance for warming or heating the room.

Congratulationson your ch o ice o f a Jenn-A i rradiant cooktop cartridge . The two cooking areas are identifiedby circles on the glass-ceramic cooktop . When an e lement i s turn e d ON,the cooktop will heat up and the red glow of the heating elementcan be seen through the glass-ceramic top.

If you accidentallymelt anythingonto the cooktop,or a sugary solution b o ils o ve r , rem ove it imm e di a t e ly while the c o o kt o p is s till hot.
BEFORE CLEANING, BE CERTAIN ALL ELEMENTS ARE TURNED OFF AND THE COOKTOP IS COOL . CAUTION : Do NOT use a cooktop cleaner on a hot cooktop. The fumes can be hazard o us to your health, and can chemically attack the glass-ceramic surfa c e. • The cartridge does not need to be removedfrom the cooktop for normal cleaning.
