Operation GB 21 Operation The hob The hob is equipped wi th an induct ion cooking mode. An in duc- tion coil un derneath th e glass ceramic hob ge nerates an elect ro- magnetic alterna ting fiel d which pen etrates the glass ceramic and induces the hea t-generating current in the pot base.
