B) TEMPERA TURE ALARM 1) Remov e the battery cover , located on the backside of the unit. 2) Obser v e the correct polarity and install 2 AA batteries. 3) Replace the battery cover . Note : After the batteries hav e been installed a tone will sound, and all the LCD's (Liquid Crystal Display) will briefly light up.
3) Press and release the "SET" b utton to confirm the time zone setting, and to adv ance to DST (Daylight saving time) setting. III) DST (DA YLIGHT SA VING TIME) SETTING Note : The DST default is "On", meaning that the WWVB will automatically change the time according to Da ylight Saving Time in the spr ing and fall.
