1 Introduction Congratulations! Y ou ’ve made a v er y smar t in vestment! Y our P ro T r ainer treadmill is a high-quality fit ness tool that will give you y ears and years of fitness benefits. One of the great things about the Pr o T rainer is its div ersity of applications.
2 Assembly Instructions • On L7 treadmills it is necessary to re mov e the bolts which hold the treadmill to the pallet. • Start by removing the top bolts. • Lay the tr eadmill on the ground, and then remov e the bottom bolts by placing the treadmill on your t oolbo x.
*OPTION AL Contact H eart Rate A ssembly Skip to Step 11 if treadmill has standard crossbar 3 Assembly Instructions • Feed the c ontact heart rate harness through the access hole in the inside of the left upright (insert str ain relief provided). Feed harness up into the control panel.
4 Getting Star ted Mak e sure you ha ve r ead and understand this o wner’ s manual. No w you ar e read y to begin. Start by stra ddling the treadbelt with one foot on each traction st rip. Pr ess the button. The treadbelt will beg in to mo ve at 0.5 mph.
5 Manual Mode U pon exiting the weight input screen the tr eadmill enters the M anual mode. In this mode y ou contr ol all of the treadmill functions. An y changes in speed or elevation will be a direct result of y ou touching the contr ol panel.
6 Running a Program The Pr o T rainer has 5 built-in programs and 2 user progr ams. The profiles of the built-in progr ams are viewable on the left side of the control panel. The green blocks r epresent elevation changes and the white graph lines above r epresent speed changes.
7 Hear t Rate Monitoring OPTIONAL The Pr o T rainer treadmill offers a wireless heart r ate monitoring device to give y ou feedback on ho w your body is affect ed by your w orkout.
Y our hear t is the most important muscle in your body and, lik e all muscles, must be ex ercised r egularly to re main strong and efficient. A ccording t o fitness experts, ex ercise is more effectiv e when y ou work out in a specific heart rate range or zone.
Hear t Rate Monitors OPTIONAL 9 The Pro T rainer offers two separate heart rate monitoring systems: The wireless hear t rate chest strap t ransmitter (OPTION AL) and the A ccuT rack Contact Heart Rate Monit oring System (OPTION AL). T readmill Maintenance 13 TRACKING (pr e-set from fact ory , but may need adjustment during installation) The treadbelt is tracked by means of the two 9/16” hex head bolts at the back end of the treadmill.
Insert the side rail into the upper rail clamp and tighten the bolt using a 1/2” socket. (Do not over -tighte n.) U se a soft mallet to firmly set the rails inside the clamp. U se a 3/16” allen wrench to tighten the rail clamp bolts. (Return to St ep 9 in Assembly Instructions).
