When using electrical equipment, basic prec autions should alway s be follo w ed, including: • Nev er drop or insert any object into any opening. • Nev er operat e this treadmill if it has been damaged, if it is not w orking pr operly or if it has been e xpos ed to wat er .
Car diov ascular enduranc e is the most impor tant component of phy sical fitness. Ther e ar e t wo type s of car diov asc ular tr aining, these ar e int erval training and st eady st ate training. Interv al training varies the amount of eff ort requir ed to w orkout .
The three components o f a suc ce ssful car diov ascular ex er cise pr ogr am are: • F requency • Int ensity • T ime In t erms of frequency , you should try and e x ercis e at least thr ee times per week and no mor e than five times per w eek.
Since your treadmill is a heavy piece of equipment, we r ecommend that after taking of f the top portion of the box, you slit the corner s of the low er carton and fold do wn the sides. T his will eliminate the need f or y ou t o pick up the tr eadmill o ver the sides o f the box.

Body Composition – the TR22 50 c omes with 3 diff er ent body composition measur es . T hese are Body F at P erc entag e, Body Mass Index, and Basal Metabolic Rate . None of thes e measur es are perfect and all o f them should be used only as a r elative gauge .
Befor e starting y our tr eadmill the follo wing actions will need to be properly complet ed: 1. Be certain that your treadmill sits stable on the floor . It is also recommended that you locat e your treadmill in a pleas ant ar ea that gives you something to look at while working out, such as a window or television.

Belt T ensioning If the belt begins to slip during use , it will need t o be tensioned. Y our treadmill is equipped with tension bolts that ar e acces sible fr om the back of the treadmill. Befor e t ensioning the belt, start the treadmill and set the speed to 3 MPH.
Belt Lubric ation Y ou should lubricate the belt on the TR1000 ev ery 200 hour s of use or if you feel the treadmill str aining to mo ve the belt during normal use. Note: If the belt loses its lubrication it will place stress on the motor and electronics during operation and increase the chance of product damage.
