6 7. When ripping alwa ys use a rip fence or straight edge guide . This impro ves the accuracy of cut and reduces the chance f or wheel binding. 8. Alwa ys use wheels with correct siz e and shape (diamond vs. round) arbor holes. Wheels that do not match the mounting hard- ware of the tool will run eccentrically , causing loss of control.

9 FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the tool is s witched off and unplugged bef ore adjusting or checking function on the tool. Ground F ault Circuit Interrupter Connect the tool to a pow er supply and test the Ground F ault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) before using the tool.
10 Loosen the wing bolt on the depth guide and mov e the base so that the end of the blade case is abo ve the red line on the depth guide. Then tighten the wing bolt to secure the base . NO TE: • If the end of the blade case is under the red line on the depth guide, the outer flange ma y hit the workpiece when you perf or m the be vel cut.
11 ASSEMBL Y CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the tool is s witched off and unplugged bef ore carr ying out any work on the tool. Installing or remo ving diamond wheel Hold the outer flange with the wrench and loosen the he x sock et head bolt clockwise with the he x wrench.
12 Assemble the abo ve par ts hand tight as f ollows. 1. Cut the vinyl tube at an angle f or easier inser tion. Push the end of the vinyl tube into the end of the adaptor using a combination pushing and twisting motion. 2. Screw the pressure regulator tight on a the adaptor .
13 Installing cover (A) Install the cov er (A) on the tool so that its side with “ Upside ” mark faces upw ard. OPERA TION Adjust the amount of water flo w . Hold the tool fir mly . Set the base plate on the workpiece to be cut without the wheel mak- ing any contact.
14 crete bloc k to dress the diamond wheel. T o do this, tightly secure the bench grinder wheel or concrete bloc k and cut in it. After use Blow a wa y dust from the inside of the tool by running the tool at an idle f or a while. Brush off accumulation of dust on the base.
15 Use a screwdriv er to remove the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon br ushes, inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. T o maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY , repairs,.
