7 FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged bef ore adjusting or checking function on the tool. Adjusting the depth of cut Loosen the wing bolt on the depth guide and mov e the base up or down. At the desired depth of cut, secure the base b y tightening the wing bolt.
8 Installing or removing the wheel T o replace the wheel, depress the shaft lock to hold the shaft stationar y , then loosen the hex bolt clockwise with the soc ket wrench. Be sure to fully tighten the he x bolt counterclockwise after mounting the new wheel, or oper ation will be dangerous.
9 Use a screwdriv er to remove the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon br ushes , inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. T o maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY , repairs,.
