3 Electrical Safety 4. Double insulated tools are equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other .) This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one wa y . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, re verse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified elec- trician to install a polarized outlet.

7 Speed change T wo speed ranges can be preselected with the speed change le ver . T o change the speed, press the speed change lev er and slide it to the “ L ” position f or low speed or the “ H ” position f or high speed.
8 Installing or removing drill bit T o install the bit, place it in the chuck as far as it will go . Tighten the chuck b y hand. Place the chuck k ey in each of the three holes and tighten clockwise . Be sure to tighten all three chuck holes e venly .
9 Blow-out b ulb (optional accessor y) After drilling the hole, use the blo w-out bulb to clean the dust out of the hole. Drilling operation CA UTION: • Pressing e xcessively on the tool will not speed up the drilling.
