4 Using your Hob The table below offer s guidance as to what eac h power level is f or . 5 Using your Hob T o swit ch the hob on T o s witch the pow er on, touch and hold the for appr oximately tw o seconds. The hob will beep and all four zone displa ys will show zer o. Please not e: If a pow er level is no t set within ten seconds, the hob will swit ch off automatically .
6 Childlock The hob is equipped with a childloc k to lock the contr ols. This can be used when the hob is off or during cooking. T o swit ch on the childloc k T ouc h the key for appr oximately two sec onds until the LED above the childloc k key illuminates and the hob beeps to confirm the childloc k is switched on.
7 Efficient Use of your Hob The hob is equipped with zones of differ ent sizes, designed to accommodate most shapes and sizes of pan. F or best results, only use pans with flat bottoms and c hoose an appropriate z one depending on the size of the pan.
8 Car e and Maintenanc e Always disc onnect the appliance from the pow er supply befor e undertaking any cleaning or maintenanc e. Important: • Steam cleaner s must not be used when cleaning this appliance. • Y ou should use a non-abrasiv e cleaner to clean the hob top.

12 P ow er configur ation This hob can be connected to a 1 3, 1 6, 25 or 32amp supply and configured t o work on any of these pow er settings. If the hob is connected to a 32amp supply all f our zones can be used on the maximum setting with boost at the same time.
