1 99-6510 D ASH DISA SSEMBL Y DODGE DUR ANGO 2005-2007 CHRY SLER A SPEN 2007 Disconnect the negative ba ttery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove (2) 7MM screws from the inside of the pocket facing upward. ( Figure A) 1 2 Unc lip and remove the entire trim panel surrounding the radio and c lima te controls.

Unc lip and remove entire panel surround- ing radio and c lima te controls, including a/c vents and c lock. ( Figure A) 1 2 Remove (4) 7MM screws securing radio to dash and remove radio.
99-6510 D ASH DISA SSEMBL Y 4 DODGE R AM 1500 2006-2008 Disconnect the negative ba ttery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Open cup holder and remove (2) Phillips screws facing up on front edge of radio/c lima te control panel.
99-6510 D ASH DISA SSEMBL Y 5 DODGE R AM 1500 2006-2008 Disconnect the negative ba ttery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove center console inserts, if present. ( Figure A) 1 3 Unc lip and remove entire panel sur- rounding radio and c lima te controls, inc luding a/c vents.
99-6510 D ASH DISA SSEMBL Y 6 Disconnect the negative ba ttery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap and remove console front top cover (c losest to the dash). ( Figure A) 1 3 Unc lip and remove entire panel surrounding radio and c lima te controls, including a/c vents.
7 99-6510 D ASH DISA SSEMBL Y JEEP GR AND CHEROKEE 2005-2007 Disconnect the negative ba ttery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap and remove panel from around radio inc luding the vent on each side. ( Figure A) 1 2 Remove (4) 7MM screws securing radio to dash and remove radio.

10 99-6510 KIT ASSEMBL Y Slide the DIN cage into the radio housing and secure b y bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 1 Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage until secure . (Figure B) 2 Snap the pocket into the r adio housing . (Figure C) 3 DIN R ADIO PRO VISION WITH POCKET A B C Continue to final assembly .
11 99-6510 KIT ASSEMBL Y Mount the ISO Brackets to the radio with the screws supplied with the unit. (Figure A) 1 Slide the radio into the radio opening until the side clips engage . (Figure B) 2 Snap the ISO T rim Plate into the radio housing . (Figure C) 3 Snap the pocket into the radio housing .
12 99-6510 KIT ASSEMBL Y Snap the DDIN brack ets to the inside edge of the radio housing . (Figure B) 2 Snap the DDIN trim-plate onto the housing/r adio assembly .
13 99-6510 KIT ASSEMBL Y Cut and remove center divider in radio housing . (Figure A) 1 Snap the DDIN brack ets to the inside edge of the radio housing . (Figure B) 2 Slide the stacked ISO DIN radio units into the DDIN bracket/r adio housing assembly and secure the unit to the kit using the screws supplied with the units.
14 99-6510 FINAL ASSEMBL Y FINAL A SSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factory wiring har ness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
