Under specific conditions this heater has been shown to deliver heat at rates ranging from ap proximately11,900to42,000BTU/hr for the Model 94NC.
SECTION II MASONR Y INSER T INST ALLA TION The Model 94NC may be installed using an all masonry fireplace built in accordance with Uniform Building Code and National Fire Prot ection Association (NFPA). The first step in this type of installation is to determine accepta bility of fireplace and chimney for use with a woodstove.

INST ALLA TION PROCEDURE (Use a chimney connector or a Listed Direct or Positive Connect) (See Pag e 6). POSITIONING HEATER When positioning heater, the fo llo wing conditions MUST be met! (See Figure 5). 1. The front of flue opening must be pos itioned BEHIND rear edge of the lintel to ensure p roper draft.

Chimney This model is designed for connection to an y listed 2100º UL103 HT chimneys and parts. Follow chimneys manufacturer's instructions carefully.
Step (b): Calculate R of proposed system. 4” brick of C=1.25, therefor e Rbrick = 1/C = 1/1.25 =0.80 1/8” mineral board of K = 0.29, therefore Rmin.bd. =1/029 x0.125 = 0.431 Step (c): Compare proposed system R of 1.23 1 to specified R of 0.893. Since proposed system R is greater than required , th e system is acceptable.
Page 14 a) Minimum 3.5-in thick brick masonry all framed into combustible wall with a minimum of 12-in brick separation from c lay liner to combustibles .
