21 F ax Forwar d The DX- 2000 is capable of transferring all rec eived Inter net emai l or r egular G3 f ax document s to a pre- programmed G3 f ax or a PC destin ation. 23 Rela yed T ransmission The DX-20 00 allows you to transmit an em ail rece iv ed from an Inter ne t F ax or PC co nnect ed to the LAN to multiple fax machines via a te lephon e line.
24 Impor tant Inf ormation The DX-2 000 uses the sam e communicati on protoc ols as email: t he Si mple Mai l T ransfer Protocol (SMTP) . The diff erences from a standard G 3 fax communicatio n using th e Public T e lepho ne Network (PSTN) are as follo ws.
25 Sending Document Size via LAN When trans mitting v ia LAN, the tran smitte r is incapa ble of identifyi ng the rece iver’ s reco rding pap er size capabi lity , and thus it will not reduce the docu ment size. Theref o re, when transmitt ing via LA N, it is recom mended that you use only A4/Let ter size documents.

30 Loading the Recor ding P aper P aper Specifications In general, mos t bond papers wil l produce e xcellen t results. Most photoc opy papers will also wor k ver y well. There a re many "n ame" and "gener ic" brands of p aper a vailab le.
