4. T e lephone 21 Recording 4.3 Recording a telephon e con ver satio n (KX-FT907 onl y) Y ou can record a telephone con versation. This conv ersation can be pla yed bac k later , either directly (page 41) or remotely (page 43). 1 During a telephone conv ersation, press { RECORD } .
4. T elephon e 22 “ PRIVATE CAL LER ” : The caller requested not to send caller inf or mation. “ LONG DIST ANCE ” : The caller made a long distance call . T o c onfirm caller information using the Caller ID lis t – T o pr int manually , see page 59.
4. T e lephone 23 L The time of the call cannot be displ ayed. T o confir m the time of the call, print the C aller ID list (page 59). Display while viewing L When the unit could not receiv e a name, the disp lay will sh ow “ NO NAM E RCVD ” . L When no calls ha ve been receiv ed, the disp lay will sh ow “ NO CA LLER DATA ” .
4. T elephon e 24 4.6 Storing caller inf o rmation for the one- touch dial feature and navigator directory Impor tant: L This feature is not av ailable in the follo wing cases. – The telephon e number includes data other than numb ers (i.e., * or #).
4. T e lephone 25 Dial Lock 4.7 Setting the dia l lock feature Dial loc k feature allo ws you to pre vent others from making calls. During the setting procedure of this feature; – you m us t store a PIN (P ersonal Identification Number). This PIN is required when turning OFF dial lock .

Help 51 10 Help Error Mess ages 10.1 Err o r messages – Repor ts If a problem occurs during f ax transmission or reception, one of the f ollowing messages will be printed on the sending and jour nal repor ts (page 27). COMMUNICA TION ERROR (Code: 41- 72, FF) L A transmission or reception error occurred.

10. Help 53 Troubleshooting 10.3 When a fu nction does not w o rk, chec k here 10.3.1 Initial settings I cannot hear a dial ton e. L The telephone line cord is connected to the [EXT] jack on the unit. Connect to the [LINE] jack (page 5) (KX-FT901/KX-FT903 only).
