4 4 Installations and connections When the unit r uns out of ink film, the f ollowing message will be displa yed. Install a new ink film.

8 3 Enter your logo , up to 30 characters, using the dial ke ypad. T o enter English characters easily , press (Character input mode) repeatedly and select “ 英 ” (English and sign input mode). F or details, see the tab le on page 9 for instructions.

15 Sending faxes 1 Open the document cov er , and adjust the width of the document guides to the size of the document. 2 Inser t the document (up to 5 pages) F ACE UP until a single beep is heard. 3 If necessar y , press (Resolution) repeatedly to select the desired setting (see below).
16 Receiving faxes Receiving a fax manuall y (A UT O ANSWER off) Using the main unit: 2 When: – document reception is required, – a f ax calling tone (slow beep) is heard, or – no sound is heard, press (F ax), then replace the handset. The unit will star t f ax reception.
17 Displa y when faxes are received in memory 1 Press (Call/F ax list). Viewing fax es stored in memor y When new f axes are receiv ed in memor y , (Call/ F ax list) will light on. It will also light on when a call is missed. (F or Number Displa y ser vice users.
18 3 Press (Search button) to select the desired f ax to print, then press (Print). Printing a specific fax stored in memory 1 Press (Call/F ax list). Deleting a specific fax stored in memory 5 Press (Stop). Receiving faxes 1 Press (Call/F ax list). 3 Press (Search b utton) to select the desired f ax to delete.
