C2473M-C (8/06) 5 Description Pelco’ s IPS-RDPE-2 dat a port box is an on-sit e service too l designed f or Spectra III ™ SE, Spectra III, Esprit ® , and ExSit e ™ Series positioning systems. The d ata port b ox gives on -site acc ess for setu p and testi ng of the p ositioning system.
6 C2473M-C (8/06) Mounting Instructions W ALL MOUNTING 1. Open the lid of the IPS-RDPE-2 box. Install two 3/4-inch (1.9 1 cm) conduit fittings (not supp lied). Close the lid of the IPS- RDPE-2 box. 2. Determin e the mounting lo cation for the IPS-RDP E-2.
C2473M-C (8/06) 7 POLE MOUNTING 1. Install the P A402 mount adap ter . Refer t o the instruct ions supplie d with the ad apter . 2. Open the lid of the IPS-RDPE-2 box. Install two 3/4-inch (1.9 1 cm) conduit fittings (not supp lied). Close the lid of the IPS- RDPE-2 box.
8 C2473M-C (8/06) Cable/Wire Requirements and Connector Locations Refer to Figure 3 for a layou t of the data port box connector s. It is important to connec t all four communication wires from the IPS-RDPE-2 to the Spectra III dome system or ExSite system.
