4 B W arning: Unplug the baby unit and mak e sure your hands and the unit are dry when you insert non- rechargeable batteries. D Note: The baby unit has an operating time of 3 hour s when you use it on non-rechargeable alkaline batteries with the night light tur ned on.

9 5.3 Sound le vel lights The parent unit continuously monitors the sound level in y our baby’ s room and the sound level lights let you kno w if there is any activity . If your baby cries, the blue sound lev el lights light up on the parent unit. • As long as no sound is detected, the sound level lights are out.
10 2 Press the nightlight button again to turn off the nightlight. 5.6 Lullab y function 1 Press the lullaby pla y/stop button on the parent unit to play a lullab y . • The lullaby starts to play on the baby unit and is repeated continuously for appr ox.
11 D Note: The display is b lack and white when the infrared lights are on. However , sometimes it is possible to see a greenish image . This is normal due to external light sources.
12 B W arning: Mak e sure the bab y unit and parent unit ar e dr y befor e you connect them again. 3 Clean the adapter s with a dr y cloth. 7 Storag e When you are not going to use the bab y monitor for some time, remov e the non-rechar geable batteries from the baby unit and the rechar geable batter y from the parent unit.
13 • P erhaps the baby unit is not connected to an electrical outlet and the non-rechar geable batteries in the baby unit are empty or there are no non-rechargeable batter ies in the baby unit at all. Connect the baby unit to an electrical outlet or put new non-rechargeable batter ies in the baby unit.
