Connect m achi ne to power source and press the star t butt on ( A, Figure 8) . 2. The san ding bel t shoul d m o v e left to right , as vi ewed from t he f r ont of t he m achi ne.

14 To adj ust tracking, proceed as f ollows: 1. Loosen t he nut (A, Figur e 18). 2. Tur n the adjustm ent knob (B, Fi gure 18) count er-cl ockwise to shif t the belt upward; cl oc kwise to shif t t he belt downward. 3. W hen the bel t is center ed and track ing properl y, tight en nut (A, Figure 18) .
