1 This User Guide c overs a number of dieren t models. Although some of the illustra tions will lo ok dieren t to your particular model the functions will b e the same. W e hope the meaning is clear . Y our cooker should give you many y ears of trouble -free cooking if installed and operated correctly .
2 DO NO T use a steam cleaner on your cooker . Always be c er tain that the controls are in the OFF position when the oven is not in use , and before attempting to clean the cooker . When the ov ens are on, DO NOT open the doors for longer than necessary to insert and remove conten ts.
3 C LASSI C DELUXE 90 A B C D E The 90 dual fuel cooker (F ig. 2.1) has the following f eatures: A. 5 hotplate burners including a wok burner B. A control panel C. A grill or glide -out grill D. A main programmable fan o ven ( Kitchener, Hi-LITE , Professional+ ) or a multi-function oven ( Classic Delux e ) E.
4 Note: On the Classic Deluxe , simply push in and turn the control knob . The igniter should spark and light the gas . Keep holding the knob pressed in to let the gas through to the burner for about ten seconds. If, when y ou let go of the control knob, the burner goes out, then the FSD has not been bypassed.
5 The W ok Cradle (Optional) The wok cradle is desig ned to t a Professional 35 cm wok. If you use a dier ent wok, make sure that it ts the cradle. W oks vary ver y widely in size and shape. It is impor tant that the wok sits down on the pan support – however , if the wok is too small, the cradle will not support it properly (Fig .
6 The Grill / Glide -out Grill Open the door and pull the grill pan (Fig . 2.15) or carriage (Fig . 2.16) forward using the handle. The grill has two elements that allo w either the whole area of the pan to be heated or just the right-hand half . Adjust the heat to suit b y turning the k nob.

8 Multi-function O ven F unctions (Classic Delux e only) Rapid Response The Rapid Response setting enables you to preheat the oven faster than normal . I t uses the fan oven element with additional heat from one of the elements in the top of the ov en.
9 Operating the Ov ens F an Oven T urn the oven knob to the desired temperatur e (Fig. 2.19) . The oven indica tor light will glow until the oven has r eached the temperatur e selec ted.

18 5. Cleaning Y our C ooker Essential Informa tion Isolate the electricity supply before carrying out any thorough cleaning . Allow the cooker to cool. NEVER use paint solven ts, washing soda, caustic cleaners, biological powders , bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners, coarse abr asives or salt.

20 Glass Fr onted Door Panels The oven door fr ont panels can be taken o so that the glass panels can be cleaned. Move the c ooker for ward to gain access to the sides (see the ‘Mo ving the Cooker ’ section under ‘Installation ’ ).
21 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5-1) are available fr om supermar kets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
22 Hotplate ignition or hotplat e burners fault y Is the power on? Is the clock illuminat ed? If not, there maybe something wrong with the po wer supply . Are the sparker (ignition electrode) or burner slots blocked by debris? Are the burner trim and caps correctly located? See the section on ‘Cleaning’ .
23 Oven tempera ture getting hotter as the cooker gets older If turning the temperature down using the o ven control knob has not worked, or has only worked for a short time, then you ma y need a new thermostat. T his should be tted by a service person.
