1 Y our cooker should give you man y years of trouble-free cooking if installed and operated correctly . I t is impor tant that you read this section befor e you start, par ticularly if you have not used a dual fuel cooker bef ore . Impor tant! CAUTION: This appliance is f or cooking purposes only .
2 Ac cessible parts will become hot during use and will retain heat ev en after you hav e stopped cooking. Keep babies and childr en away fr om the cooker and never w ear loose -tting or hanging clothes when using the appliance .

T ur n the control knob to the OFF position and wait for one minut e before y ou tr y again, this time making sure to hold in the control knob for slightly longer .
5 ArtNo.31 1-0006 Correct wok sizes The W ok Cr adle The wok cradle is desig ned to t a 35 cm wok. If you use a dieren t wok, make sure that it ts the cradle.
6 The Glide -out Grill Open the door and pull the grill pan carriage forward using the handle (Fig .2-15) . The grill has two elements that allo w either the whole area of the pan to be heated or just the right-hand half . Adjust the heat to suit b y turning the k nob .
7 F an Assisted O ven This function operates the fan, circulating air hea ted by the elements at the top and the base of the o ven. The combination of fan and con ventional cooking (top and base heat) makes this function ideal for cooking large items that need thor ough cooking, such as a large meat roast.
8 Large items , such as whole chickens and joints should not be defrosted in this wa y . W e recommend this be carried out in a refrigerator . Defrosting should not be carried out in a warm oven or when an adjoining oven is in use or still warm. Make sure that dairy foods, meat and poultry are completely defrosted bef ore cooking.

The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the ov en will work. Setting the Clock The 2-button L CD clock can only display a 24 hour clock.
10 T o Stop the Multifunction Oven at a Specific T ime of Day Y ou have set the required t emperature and function mode for the Multifunction O ven and you w ould like the Multifunction Oven to automatically stop . T OP TIP Make a note of the current time so you do not f orget.
11 T o Start and Stop the Multifunction Oven The Multifunction Oven allows you to automa tically star t and stop by a combination of the length of the c ooking time and the stop time. Giving y ou the exibilty to cook casseroles etc while you are out.
12 Ac cessories Oven Shelv es – Left-hand (Main) Oven In addition to the at shelves, y our cooker is supplied with a drop shelf (F ig. 2.38) . The drop shelf increases the possibilities for ov en shelf spacing. The oven shelv es can be easily remov ed and retted.
13 T ips on Cooking with the Timer If you want to cook mor e than one dish, choose dishes that require appr oximately the same c ooking time. However , dishes can be ‘slo wed down ’ slightly by us.

17 Ovens ‘ Cook & Clean ’ Panels The main oven has panels which ha ve been coated with a special enamel that partly cleans itself. This does not stop all marks on the lining, but helps to r educe the amount of manual cleaning needed. The ‘C ook & Clean’ panels w ork better above 200 °C.
18 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are available from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approv ed for use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
