8 — English ASSEMBL Y UNP ACKING This product r equires assembly . Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. Inspect the pr oduct carefully to make sure no br eakage or damage occurred during shipping.

10 — English TELESCOPING BOOM See Figure 6. The boom can be extended or shortened for ease of use. Remove the battery pack. Loosen the telescoping boom coupler by turning it coun- terclockwise. Slide the boom to the desir ed position. Tighten the coupler by turning clockwise.
11 — English PROPER OPERA TING POSITION OPERA TING THE TRIMMER See Figure 9. Follow these tips when using the string trimmer: Hold the trimmer with your right hand on the rear handle and your left hand on the front handle. Keep a firm grip with both hands while in operation.
