2 W ARNINGS / SAFETY PRECA UTIONS W arning T o avoid an y risk of personal injury , material damage or incorrect use of the appliance , be sure to observe the following saf ety precautions. (After reading these owner’ s instructions, please keep them in a safe place for ref erence).
3 • K eep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure or mounting str ucture clear of obstruction. • Do not use mechanical devices or an y other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manuf acturer . • Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
1 Allow an adequate space and install the fridge/freez er on a firm, level floor . • If the appliance is not lev el, there may be unusual noises and poor cooling. • W ait for at least one hour bef ore plugging the appliance in. 2 Clean the fridge/freez er .
PREP ARING THE FRIDGE/FREEZER 5 1 Install all shelves and compar tments removed during transpor t in the correct positions. 2 Clean the fridge/freezer and accessor ies to remove any dust that accumulated during packing and shipping. 3 The interior light should accumulated dur ing come on when you open the refrigerator .

7 The temperature display ( ➃ ) flashes “– –” if there has been a power f ailure. Chec k that the f ood stored in the appliance has not gone bad. Y ou must empty the refr igerator before pressing the V AC b utton. REF .TEMP Button • T o change the refrigerator temperature: – Press the REF .

10 MAKING ICE 1 Pull out the ice cube maker . 2 P our water in up to the water level mark (arro w). 3 Put the ice cube maker back in position. Close the freezer door . 4 A. T wist type B. Normal type 1 P our water into the ice cube maker. • Fill the maker up to about 80% with water .
11 USING THE W A TER DISPENSER (OPTION) With the water dispenser , you can obtain chilled water easil y without opening the refrigerator door . In addition, you can sa ve electricity by reducing the n umber of times the door is opened by more than 30%.
12 OPEN OPEN LOOK LOCK 3 Check that the loc king device is set to “OPEN”. • W ater is only dispensed if the device is set to “OPEN”. 4 Place a cup on the cup suppor t, then press the PUSH lever . INST ALLING A REGULAR BO TTLE 1 Press the fixing lever , lift the exc lusive water tank upwards, then remove it.
13 REMO VING AND CLEANING THE A CCESSORIES 1 Ice cube maker (optional) • Place a hand in the lower groo ve , then pull the ice cube maker f orward. • Remov e the ice cube maker and rinse it in water .
14 CLEANING THE W A TER DISPENSER Connection path Wipe out the connection path and surrounding area with a clean damp cloth. Cup Support / Dispenser T ra y 1 Cup support/Dispenser tray Press “PUSH” behind the cup suppor t slightly , then remov e the cup suppor t.
