11 4. Cut the Shipping Z ip- Tie and Inspect the Rail Assembly Note : Be sure the Incline is lowered on the Rail Assembly . If not, follow the procedur e to release the Incline Assembly on page 32.

21 BEfORE YOU ST ART Moving t he Machine The machine may be moved by one or more persons depending on their physical abilities and capacities. Make sure that you and others ar e all physically fit and able to move the machine safely . 1. Remove the power cord.
22 Leveling th e Mach ine The machine needs to be leveled if your workout area is uneven or if the Rail Assembly is slightly of f the floor . T o adjust: 1. Place the machine in your workout area. 2. SafelystandonthebackoftheRailAssemblyforapproximately20seconds.

25 Console Features The Console provides important information about your workout and lets you contr ol the resistancelevelswhileyouexer cise.TheConsolehasagriddisplaywithtouchcontrolbuttonsto navigateyouthroughtheexer ciseprograms.
26 LCD Display Data Program Display The Program Display shows the name of the pr ogram selection and the grid display area shows the course pr ofile for the program. Each column in the profile shows one interval (workout segment). The higher the column, the higher the resistance level.

31 Upper Handlebar Arm Adjustment Correctgripplacementencouragesexer ciseefficiencyandcomfort,while reducing the risk of injury . The upper Handlebar Arm can be adjusted to four distinct positions. Step off the machine befor e you adjust the arm.
32 T o release the Incline Assembly: Do not adjust the workout angle when on the machine. 1. Grasp the Incline Handle and be prepar ed to support the weight of the raised parts of the machine. When released, the Incline Assembly may fully disengage. Make sure that you ar e able to support the weight of the raised parts of the machine safely .
33 Initial Setup During the first power -up, the Console must be setup for your preferred measur ement units, the machine type, and brightness of the screen. 1. Units of Measurement: Push the Incr ease/Decrease buttons to change between “Miles-Lb” (ImperialEnglish)or“Km-Kg”(metric).

39 Fitness T est The Fitness T est measures the impr ovements of your physical fitness level. The test compares your power output (in W atts) to your heart rate. As your fitness level improves, your power output will increase at a given heart rate. Y ou can start the Fitness T est from the FITNESS TEST option in the Program Menu.

Distance Goal Program The Distance Goal Program lets you set the total Distance and Pacer Speed for your workout.
41 Pausing or Stopping The Console will go into Pause Mode if the user stops pedaling and pushes STOP during a workout, or there is no RPM signal for 5 seconds (user not pedaling).
42 The RESET ST A TS option will clear the accumulated workout values. Use the Increase/De- crease buttons to change your selection between YES and NO, and push ST ART/ENTER. PushSTOPtoexittheRESETST A TSoption. 6. Push STOP to go back to the User profile menu—View Stats or W orkout option.
