The ScyT ek Galaxy 5100RS Series is a Combination Vehicle Security and Remote Starting System featuring a built -in "ScyNet Network Port" that allows direct connection of optional accessory modules and a PC interface off ering expanded system operation.
The 2-wa y Color remote transmitter is off ering increased range and confirmation of any activ ated feature. Page 1 Button 1 Arms and Locks* the system and when held for 5 seconds, activ ates the system’ s Panic f eature. Button 1 also locks the doors when the system is in V alet Mode.

Press button 1 to select the pager . Setting Date & Time Select Time Date setting by pressing buttons 3 or 4 to highlight the f eature.
Use buttons 3 & 4 to highlight the time par ameter you wish to change, use buttons 1 & 2 to scroll up or down to chage the time. Save the changes by pressing but ton 5. Setting Alarm Clock Select Alarm setting by pressing buttons 3 or 4 to highlight the f eature.

Press and hold Buttons 2 and 3 until S ystem program features are high-lighted. Select system setting by pressing buttons 3 or 4 to highlight the pager .
Setting AutoStart Cold Temperature Threshold Select Cold T emp start setting by pressing buttons 3 or 4 to highlight the f eature. Press button 1 to select it. Use buttons 1 & 2 to scroll up or down to chage the temper ature threshold. Save the changes by pressing button 5.

Page 9 - Galaxy 5100RS Transmitter Lockout Press and hold buttons 4 & 2 simultanously for 3 seconds to lockout the tr ansmitter against accidental transmission. Release Transmitter Lockout Press and hold buttons 4 & 2 simultanously for 3 seconds to release the transmit ter from Lockout.

Standard Remote Transmitter Description Depending on the model chosen, the Galaxy 5100RS Series will be supplied with one or two T5 or T5-SP 5-button R emote T ransmitters that are used to control the system’ s operations.
Page 12 - Galaxy 5100RS Adding/Replacing Standard Remote Transmitters T o replace lost or stolen transmit ters or to add additional transmitters into the system, ha ve all desired transmit ters ready and follow the steps below . Note : Up to 4 one-wa y transmitters can be progr ammed to operate the system.
2-way LCD Remote Transmitter Description Depending on the model chosen, the Galaxy 5100RS-2W Series will be supplied with one or two 2-wa y LCD R emote T ransmitters, off ering increased range and confirmation of an y activated features.
Page 14 - Galaxy 5100RS 3. Press and release Button 1 on the first tr ansmitter then on the second transmit ter . · The siren/horn will chirp/honk once for every tr ansmitter learned. 4. T urn off the ignition key . 5. The siren/horn will chirp/honk 3 times to indicate the system has exited programming mode.
Galaxy 5100RS - Page 15 T o set the daily start feature: 1. Press and hold Buttons 2 and 3 until the remote beeps four times. · The fan and clock will be shown indicating daily start mode is entered. 2. Press Button 2 until the desired hour is displayed.
Galaxy 5100RS - Page 16 CHP Set the siren/horn confirmation chirps/honks ON or OFF : 1. Press and hold Button 5 until the display shows CHP . ·The tr ansmitter will beep three times.

Page 18 - Galaxy 5100RS Remote Arming/Locking The system monitors 5 independent areas ( zones ) while armed: doors, hood/ trunk, shock sensor , optional sensor input, and the network port for future expansion. T o Arm and Lock the System: 1. T urn off the ignition.
Galaxy 5100RS - Page 19 Tamper Alert If the system was triggered while awa y , the LED will flash to indicate which zone triggered the system after disarming and turning the ignition ON.
Page 20 - Galaxy 5100RS Panic Mode In the event of an emergency , the transmitter’ s remote Panic feature can be used to instantly trigger the alarm/panic feature. T o activ ate the Panic Mode: 1. Press and hold Button 1 for fiv e seconds. · The alarm will sound.
Galaxy 5100RS - Page 21 3. Press the valet switch 4 times. · The siren will chirp each time the valet switch is pressed. 4. Within 5 seconds, press Button 3 on the tr ansmitter . · The siren will chirp 3 times. 5. Press the valet switch the number of times equal to the desired code (from 1-15).
Page 22 - Galaxy 5100RS Remote Starting T o Remote Start the S ystem: 1. Be sure the system is not in V alet Mode. 2. Press and hold Button 4 for three seconds. · The parking lights will flash 4 times and turn on. · The siren/horn will chirp/honk 4 times.
Galaxy 5100RS - Page 23 Automatic Start Mode Automatic Start feature has three modes that will start the vehicle every one or two hours within a 24 hour period. 1. Timer Only Mode (factory def ault) The Automatic Start feature starts the vehicle automatically ev ery one or two hours and runs for the preset Run Time.

Galaxy 5100RS - Page 27 Mounting the Control Unit The control unit must only be mounted in the interior of the vehicle. Do not mount the main unit in the engine compartment.
