8 Step 3: Conn ect the pow er cor d With the moni tor and compute r switched off, first connec t the power cord to the m onitor, the n conne ct it to a p ower ou tlet. Step 4: Secure the cords and replace the bac k co ver 1 Bun dle t he ca ble s and c ord s.
9 GB Step 5: T urn on the monitor and computer 1 Press the 1 (power ) switch upw ard. The 1 (powe r) indicato r of the m onitor lights up in green. 2 Turn on the co mputer. The installatio n of your moni tor is complete. If necessary, use the monitor’s contro ls to adjust th e picture.
10 Customizing Your Monitor You can mak e numerou s adjust ments to you r monito r using the on-scre en menu. Navigating the menu x Using the MENU, m/M , and OK b uttons 1 Display th e main menu. Press the MENU butt on to disp lay t he main men u on you r screen.

The fine t uning menu for col or temperature ap pears on the screen. 5 P ress the m / M buttons to select R (Re d) or B (Blue) and press the OK butto n. Then p ress the m / M buttons to adj ust the c olor tempe rature and press the OK button.

14 INPUT SENSING menu When you selec t AUTO ON in the INPUT SENSING menu, the monitor auto matically d etects an in put signal to an inpu t terminal, and chang es the input auto maticall y before the monitor g oes into the p ower sa ving mod e. 1 P ress the MENU button.
15 GB 3 Press the m / M b uttons to select e ither “On” or “Off.” • ON: Only the 1 (power) switch and INPUT butt on will operate. If you at tempt any oth er operation , the icon a ppears on t he scree n. • OFF: Set “ MENU LOCK” to off.
16 Setting the MODE (PICTURE) If you pr ess th e butto n on th e lower side of the mon itor repeatedl y, you can sel ect MODE from MOVIE t PC t AUTO t GAME. When you select “AUTO,” the mo nitor autom atically adju sts the screen b rightn ess accord ing to th e brightnes s of the su rroundi ngs (Automa tic brigh tness adjustm ent fun ction).
