12 Befor e Pr inting Operatio n Oper ati on Bef ore Printing Once the pr inter is connected to t he computer (page 10), before you can actu ally be gin prin ting you must load t he paper and the ink ri bbon as describ ed belo w .
13 Befo re Pr inting Op eratio n Loading the Ink Ri bbon and Paper When us ing the prin ter for the f irst ti me, it i s neces sary to f irst load the paper and ink ribb on. 1 Make su re that the pr inter is not performing an operation, and then pull out the media tray .
14 Befor e Pr inting Operatio n 5 Insert the paper ho lders into the pape r roll. A pink paper holder and a blue paper ho lder are prov ided with th e printer .

Y ou c an load th e paper roll i n the correct directio n by matching t he colors of the paper holders in serted in to the pa per roll with the c olors on the media t ray .
