Safety Pr ecautions The Aura SoHo™ Conf erence Phone is an elec trical product. As with any elec trical product, obser ve reasonable precautions to avoid risk of r e or electrical shock . • Do not use this product near water , such as near a sink or bath tub , or in a wet ar ea, such as in a wet basement.
6 Setup Setting up the Aura SoHo™ C onfer ence Phone 1. Plug the pow er cord int o the W all Adapt er . 2. Inser t the power supply plug into an available electrical outlet. 3. Connect one end of the included phone cable into the Phone Connector port on on the W all Adapter .

8 Setup for V oIP Analog Adapter box es IMPORT ANT NO TICE : The Aura SoHo™ Confer ence Phone has echo and noise cancellation which is optimized for ANAL OG telephone lines (land lines). I f y ou have a standard Analog phone line, the instruc tions on this sheet do not apply to y ou.
9 Setup 2. Conrm the A ura SoHo™ Conferenc e Phone is connected properly by pressing the Po wer button � . The keypad back light will go on and you will hear a dial tone. W ait for 5 seconds, then press the P ower button � again to turn OFF the unit.
Using the Aur a SoHo™ Confer ence Phone T O MAKE A C ALL Pr ess the P ow er Button � to turn on the Aura SoHo™ Conf erence Phone , then enter the phone number for your call. ADJUST SPEAKER VOL UME Pr ess the Volume Up ^ or V olume Down v button to adjust the speaker volume .
MICROPHONE MUTE Pr ess the MUTE button to turn o the microphones in the Aura SoHo™ Conf erence Phone. The red indicator light above the MUTE button will be on when muted. W hile in MUTE mode, you will be able to hear the other end of the call, but they will not hear you.
12 Reprogram C onference Number The Aura SoHo™ Confer ence Phone comes preprogr ammed with the number for Spracht ’ s conferencing ser vice provider . If you decide to use this ser vice, all you hav e to do is press the C ONF button to make a conf erence call .
13 in reprog ram mode, press and hold the CONF button for 10 seconds. After 5 seconds, the backlight will c ome on; when the backlight star ts flashing, you may r elease the CONF button. Enter the new Confer ence Center Phone Number . The maximum number of digits you can enter is 16, the minimum is 3.
14 INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPROGRAMMING THE FLASH BUT T ON FOR INTERNA TIONAL USE Where the A ura SoHo™ Conferenc e Phone is “based” outside of Nor th America Changing the region code is not recommended for end users. This procedure is either completed in Manufacting prior to shipment, or best done by a Ser vice Cen ter or trained T echnician.
