WIRELESS 433 MHz TEMPERATURE STATION Instruction Manual INTRODUCTION: Congratulations o n purchasing this r evolutionar y 433MHz tempera ture Station w hich provides adv anced data-logging and data-analy sis functions for u p to three outdo or temperatur e readings.

HOW TO INSTALL A ND REPLACE BATTER IES IN THE TEMPERA TURE STATION The Temperature Station uses 3 x AA, IEC L R6, 1.5V batteri es. To install and r eplace the batteries, please follow the steps below: 1. Insert finger or other soli d object in the space at the bottom center of the bat tery compartme nt and lift up t o remove the cover.

MANUAL SETTINGS: In normal display mode, press an d hold the SE T key for 3 seconds to enter the m anual setting mo de for the following: a. LCD contrast setting b. Time zone setting c. Daylight saving time On/ Off setting d. Radio-controlled time r eception On/ Off se tting e.
1. In normal display , press and hol d the SET key until the digits “ Lcd” starts flashing . 2. Use the Plus (+) an d Minus (–) key to view all l evels of contrast. 3. Select the desired LC D contrast. Confirm wi th the mode or Alar m (AL) key to go b ack to the normal display mode.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ON/OFF SETTING Note: The function of day night time saving on/o ff is only applicable to specifi c area in United states using WW VB time sources. It is not appl icable for DCF- 77 signal in European countries. User may skip doing this setting for this E uropean version temperature st ation.
TIME RECEPTION ON/OFF SETTING: Digits flashing In area where rece ption of the D CF time is not possi ble, the DCF ti me reception function can be turned OFF. The clock will then work as a n ormal Quartz clock. (Default setting is ON). 1. Press and hold t he SET key until the digits “ Lcd” starts flashi ng.
12/24-HOUR FORMAT SETTING: Digits flashing The time display can be selected to show hou rs in 12-hour or 24-hour setting s. (Default 24- Hour) 1. Press and hold t he SET key until the digits “ Lcd” starts flashi ng. 2. Press and rele ase the SET key four times to enter the time for mat setting.
MANUAL TIME SETTING: In case the Temp erature Stati on cannot det ect the DC F-signal (for example due to disturbances, transmitting dista nce, etc.), the ti me can be man ually set. The cl ock will then w ork as a normal Q uartz clock. Minutes flashing Hour f lashing 1.

6. Press the SET key one more time t o confirm the month and adv ance to the day setting. The day digit will be flashing. 7. Use the Plus and Minus key to set the day. 8. Press the Mode or Alarm key to c onfirm and g o back to the nor mal display mode.
LEARNING/ REMOVING A TRANSMITTER (CHANNEL) After replacement o f batteries o f a particular t ransmitter, it is necessary to l earn the trans mitter again in th e learning mode.
THE NUMBER OF OUTDOOR TRANSMITTE RS TO BE SA VED INTO THE SYSTEM MEMORY Digits flashing Up to 3 outdoor tr ansmitters can be received by the temperature st ation. User may decide the n umber of transmitter data to be saved to t he perman ent memory o f the temper ature station.
On the other han d, if user has ini tially appl ied 3 transmitt ers but then remov e the Channel 2, the temperatu re station will t hereafte r display “--.-“ fo r Channel 2. An d if the user has chosen “Enr = 2, then data from Channel 1 to 2 will be stored in the memory, instead of Channel 1 and 3.
VIEWING VARIOUS TYPE OF TEMP/ HUMDITY READ INGS OF A SELECTED CHANNEL: After a particul ar channel (the indoor sensor or one of the ou tdoor transmit ters) has been s elected by pressing the Plus or Minus key, the following modes of data may be viewed by user: a.
b. The Min temperature and Min humidit y In normal displ ay mode, press the mode key two times. Th e minimum t emperature a nd humidity measured by the channel, a nd the date and time o f the minimu m temper ature recorde d will be displayed. The “min” icon will be fla shing.
c. The average value of the las t 100 sets reading In normal displ ay mode, press the mode key three times . The avera ge temperatur e and humidity value of the data which hav e been sav ed in the sy stem memory w ill be dis played. The “ avg” icon will be flashing.
d. The dew point temperature Dew point temp erature icon In normal display mode, press the mode key four times. The dew point temperature will be displayed next t o the flashing “ td” icon.
e. The history data sets of temperature and humidity History data ic on flashing In normal display mode, press the mode key five times. The “hist” icon will be flashing and the last recorded temperature an d humidity reading wi th the time of record w ill be displayed.
To set the high humidity alarm: 1. In normal display, pr ess the Plus or Minus key to select a channel (the se nsor at the t emperature station or one of the outdoor transmitters) 2. Press and hold the Alarm key for about 3 sec ond to enter high humidi ty alarm sett ing.
To set the lo w humidity alarm: 1. In normal display, pr ess the Plus or Minus key to select a channel (the se nsor at the t emperature station or one of the outdoor transmitters) 2. Press and hold the Alarm key for a bout 3 sec ond to enter hi gh humidity alarm setting .
To set the high temperature alarm: 1. In normal display, pr ess the Plus or Minus key to select a channel (the se nsor at the t emperature station or one of the outdoor transmitters) 2. Press and hold the al key for about 3 second to en ter high humidi ty alarm setting .
2. Press and hold t he Alarm key for about 3 sec ond to enter high humi dity alarm setti ng. Then press shortly the Alar m key three more times to enter the l ow temperatur e Alarm s etting. The te mperature digits, low limit icon and the alarm icon will sta rt flashing.

MEMORY CA PAC ITY The temperatur e station prov ides data-logg ing function. The temper ature and humi dity data ar e saved into the Memory o f the temperatur e station at 5- minute interv als (recording one data set at ev ery five minut e). The number of sets of data stored is show n at the ''mem'' display .
CLEARING ALL STORED TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY DATA (FROM TEMPORARY MEMORY OF THE TE MPERATURE STATION) The on-going temperature an d humidity data are store d at the ring buffer me mory (a temp orary memory area where the latest data will displace the oldest data once the memory capacity is reached).
Press and hold SET key first Immediately pr ess these 3 key s at the same time. Then hold the 4 keys together for about 3 seconds . 3. The running di gits will be displayed for about 6 min utes, foll owed by the ful l segment displ ay. User is then required t o remove and r e-insert batte ries to complete the restart th e unit.
The display will show some running digi ts when the tem perature station is reset. Full segment will b displayed- user remove and re-ins batteries to restar temperature stati e need to ert t the on.
After batteries are re-inserted, the sta tion will automatically launch t h e learn mode. The sig nal receipt indicator will be displayed. User needs to set again the temperature station for the desired application.
CHECKING FOR 433MHz RECEPTION If the outdoor t emperature data is not being re ceived wi thin three minutes after setting up ( or outdoor display show “ - -. -” in the o utdoor section of the Temper ature Statio n after 3 failed attempts dur ing normal operatio n), please check the following points: 1.
POSITIONING THE TEM PERA TURE STATION: The Temperature Station prov ides the opti on of table st anding or w all mounting the unit. Be fore wall mounting, please check that the o utdoor temperatur e(s) can be rec eived from the desired location( s). To wall mount: 1.
The mounting sur face can affect th e transmissi on range. If e.g . the unit is att ached to a piec e of metal, it may either reduc e or increase t he transmitting range.
SPECIFICATIONS: Temperature measuring range: Indoor : -9.9ºC to +59.9ºC with 0.1°C resolution +14ºF to +139.8ºF with 0.2ºF re solution (“- -” displa yed if outside this range) Outdoor : -29.9ºC to +69.9ºC with 0.1°C r esolution -21.8 ºF to +157.
