IMPOR T ANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: 1. Read all instructions. 2. T o protect against risk of electrical shock do not put cor d, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
13. Do not put your fingers or other objects into the Juicer opening while it is in operation. If food becomes lodged in opening, use Food Pusher or another piece of fruit or vegetable to push it down. When this method is not possible, turn the motor off, unplug Juicer from electrical outlet, and disassemble Juicer to r emove r emaining food.

The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet only . 3. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
POLARIZED PLUG This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). T o reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.

SPEED SELECTION This Juicer has two speeds options: 1=LOW and 2=HIGH. These two speeds ensure optimal rpm for maximum juicing ef ficiency (efficiency describes the amount of juice extracted from your pr oduce). Speeds are selected by simply sliding the Control Switch to the desir ed setting.
BEFORE FIRST USE The Juicer comes partly assembled in the box. W e suggest taking it apart and washing the removable parts in warm water with a biodegradable, non-abrasive liquid detergent before the first use. This will eliminate any traces of dust or r esidue fr om manufacturing or shipping.
PREP ARA TION Preparing Fruits & V egetables for Juicing... • Clean all produce thor oughly , using a natural bristle brush. If you are not using or ganic produce, we r ecommend using a biodegradable cleaner to help remove pesticide r esidue.
OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS • Make sure that the Juicer is completely and pr operly assembled. (See ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS.) The Filter Basket should be securely seated and the Pulp Basket at the rear of the Juicer , ready to catch pulp. • Place the Juice Pitcher underneath the Juice Spout.
10 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS T ips for Optimum Juicing... Tr y juicing slower , as wet produce is more likely to build up in the Lid. T o release pulp, lightly tap on the side of the Lid. Always empty the Pulp Basket when it becomes full. This will also help prevent pulp fr om leaking into the juice.
STEP ONE: Place Juice Bowl Position the Juice Bowl on top of the Motor Base so that the Juice Spout is to the right. Lower the Juice Bowl onto the Motor Base so that the Juice Spout slides through the oval ring in the Motor Base.
STEP FIVE: Secure Lid-Locking Lever While pressing down on the Safety Lock Button, swing the Lid-Locking Lever upward until the safety-lock hook on the Feed T ube is engaged. Once the Lid-Locking Lever is fastened into place, release the Safety Lock Button.
STEP ONE: Release Lid-Locking Lever While pressing down on the Safety Lock Button, swing the Lid-Locking Lever away from the Feed T ube. Release the Safety Lock Button. STEP TWO: Remove Lid Grasp the Lid by the Feed T ube; lift and r emove fr om the Juice Bowl.
This appliance requir es little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing r equiring disassembly must be pr eformed by a qualified appliance r epair technician. CLEANING YOUR JUICER THE JUICER SHOULD BE CLEANED AFTER EVER Y USE.
• TO CLEAN THE FIL TER BASKET : Use the Cleaning Brush to make sur e the tiny holes in the mesh filter are not clogged. This can be accomplished by holding the Filter Basket under a running faucet while brushing the mesh filter screen fr om both inside and outside the Filter Basket.
ST ORAGE Store the Juicer in its box or in a clean, dry place. Never stor e the Juicer while it is still plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly ar ound appliance. Do not put any stress on cord wher e it enters the unit, as this could cause cord to fray and break.

This product warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser of the pr oduct and is not transferable.
