16 Connections How you set up y our speakers can aff ect the bass and the sound fi eld. Note the following points: Place speakers on fl at secure bases. • Placing speakers too close to fl oors, walls , and corners can result in excessive bass . Cover w alls and windows with • thick curtains.
17 PLA YBA CK Playbac k Information on Playback Before y ou star t playing bac k a disc, read the follo wing information. This unit is compatible to pla y back the f ollowing discs / fi les. T o play bac k a disc / fi le , make sure that it meets the requirements for region codes and color systems as described below .
18 Playbac k Color Systems Region Codes Structure of Disc/SD Card Contents BD-video and D VD-video are recorded in diff erent color systems throughout the world. The most common color system is NTSC (which is used primarily in the United States and Canada).

20 Playbac k Normally , Blu-ra y discs and D VDs are divided into titles, and the titles are sub-divided into chapters. Audio CDs are divided into tracks . Y ou can quickly locate any specifi c title, chapter , or track. Locating a Desired Section Press POPUP/T OP MENU.

22 Playbac k Notes: • The repeat setting will be cancelled when you stop playbac k. • The chapter , title or trac k repeat will be cleared when moving to another chapter , title, track / fi le or f older. • Repeat playback does not function during A-B repeat playbac k.
