2 3 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the BébéSounds ® Remote Fever Monitor . This Thermometer will enable you to monitor your baby’ s fever from another room, 24 hours a day . With the Remote Fever Monitor you will be immediately alerted if your child’ s temperature has spiked up.
4 5 KEY FEATURES • Y our child’ s temperature is taken every 5 seconds • The thermometer transmits your child’ s temperature to your portable Parents’ Unit every 10 seconds • Alerts you if your child’ s fever is rising • Alarm can be set for 5 different temperature readings: 98°F , 99°F , 100°F , 101°F , and 102°F/36.
6 7 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1. T urn on the baby’ s thermometer by pressing the power button for approximately 2 sec- onds. The LCD display will show the temperature data. 3. T urn on the Parents’ Unit by pressing the power button for approximately 2 seconds.
8 9 • Information is being received • T emperature is under the alarm set point • T emperature reading is at or above the set point • Signifies low battery • T emperature above or below the Monitor ’ s range 5. T o set the alarm push the power button and the LCD display will flash an alarm setting and read “SET .
10 11 CARE AND CLEANING 1. The Remote Fever Monitor is a delicate electronic device. T o insure proper functioning, do not immerse either unit in water and avoid dropping them. 2. Clean both units with a soft cloth moistened with either water or alcohol.
